Happy Father's day to all the fathers out there!
It's odd, being the first entry into the blog, but I will use this space to give updates on the progress of the first and second books. There are a lot of moving pieces, as I am in the process of the final edit of book one, started the rough draft of book two, trying to learn how to build a website, and designing the cover for book one.
I suppose the first question is: what's with the grassy scene at the top of the blog? Much of the adventure takes place outdoors, in the grassy plains of Kardoon. I won't say too much more (no spoilers!) but that visual strikes home as a scene the companions might have seen as they ventured out into the wilds of Kardoon.
For book one, I hope to get the cover art going this week, but first have to decide on the style, both art and message, that I want. I started this website last week, and continue to learn about how to make it better. I am making good progress on the final edit, and hope to have that done in the next two weeks.
As for book two, I haven't spent a lot of time on it yet since most of my efforts have been trying to finalize book one, but I feel it's important to make some progress to keep the story flowing well.
That's all for now!
