100 Voracious readers!

8/1/2019

Hello All!

We hit 100 Voracious Readers in July, which is great news! Thank you to all my readers out there - I really appreciate the support!  Remember, it's super helpful to leave a review on GoodReads or Amazon - a good review or star rating can be that little push a prospective reader needs to purchase the book.

Progress continues on Book II as I just finished Chapter 10!  For whatever reason, some chapters write more easily than others - Chapter 9 was difficult but Chapter 10 was a breeze and fun to create.  I am always amazed by the writing process where the characters take on a life of their own and the plot moves in directions I never planned ahead of time.  Hopefully that uncertainty comes across in the book and gives the readers the same, pleasant, surprise twist!

Thanks again for all your support!
Brian

Hello Everyone!

We actually blew past 75 pretty quickly, and now are at 82! I appreciate every reader for taking an interest, no matter how they find their way to the World of Thran - so thank you to all the Thran readers out there!  Thank you for your support and have happy July 4th weekend!!

Thanks,
Brian

First professional review!!

5/23/2019

Hello All!

First, I'd like to thank all you Voracious Readers out there who have chosen to read Thran Book I: The Birth. I really appreciate the time you're taking to read the book and hopefully provide a small snippet of feedback or, even better, leave a review on Good Reads, Amazon, or both. Of course the same sentiment goes to all those readers who bought the book or found their way to the World of Thran on their own!!

OKAY!! The big news of the day is that Thran Book I: The Birth has received its first professional review! Karas Jim is currently in a masters program for English and American studies. I'm quoting from his bio where he states: "My studies include the ability of critical analysis of literary texts from different perspectives, adhering to different theories of reading."

Given his "critical" eye, he gave the book 3 stars (out of 5) and a "Worth Reading" tag, but I urge you to read his review which is very flattering and makes me proud...and, by the way, reads more like a 4 star review! ;)

Book II UPdate

3/28/2019

Hello All,

Still working on Book II, but the good news is there was one plot angle that I was struggling with. I normally go to sleep thinking about the book and different scenarios, and the other night the solution came to me, which helps inspire me to write more!

On a side note, I have begun the process of looking for a narrator for an audio-book of Book I. It's exciting to hear actors read the material! I expect to make that decision in the next week or two. It's a big commitment because it's a 7 year contract for the audio rights. So we'll see, there are a couple good options right now and if you're a narrator out there - get on ACX and provide an audition!

Thanks to everyone who has already rea the book and your support! Don't forget to leave a review on Good Reads, or Amazon!

Thanks,
Brian

Book I Sales & Book II Update

3/16/2019

Hello All,

So far 30 paperbacks have been sold and 20 eBooks! Thank you to all of you who have supported me! Don't forget to leave a review on Amazon or GoodReads, those things help a bunch!

Book II continues to progress. I'm on Chapter 7 and about 15% of the way done. You'll find book II getting deeper into the characters and revealing more of their motivations that were still relatively hidden in Book I as they struggled against the foes arrayed against them.

Thank you!
Brian
